"Jacques Thibaud". Total size in mat: 10.5" h x 16.75" w. In very good condition. Original ink smudges ("q" of signature, place, date, and "Presto").
The noted French violinist Jacques Thibaud has penned eight bars from a "Presto," ingeniously written as a musical upside down palindrome, to be read the same way, either right side up or upside down. He has also added a smaller two bar quote to the top left. Matted with a postcard photograph.
