HARP STOOL

Probably Italian, mid-19th century. Height at highest point: 24.5" (62.2 cm). Greatest width: 17.25" (43.8 cm). In fine condition with a nice patina.
A three-legged walnut harp stool with a central support supports the swiveling seat. The apron on the top of the base has carved relief floral decorations. The serpentine legs are carved and terminate in paw feet. The tilted seat is carved with a stylized shell motif.
