Spine with raised bands and title label. A very good copy. Boards with minor shelf wear; backstrip just beginning to detach. Some foxing but otherwise clean.The publication information -- Ulm, 1801 -- is on a small slip of paper pasted down at the bottom of the title page, atop a line of printed text that can still be read from the verso: Kempten, 1801. Thus we believe this is a first edition that was simply sold by a different publisher. (WorldCat lists only two copies: one from Kempten, one from Ulm).
