Cramer, with an introduction, commentary, and instructions in both English and German.
It is often and regrettably forgotten today just how good and influential of a pianist Johann Baptist Cramer really was: Beethoven himself considered Cramer the finest technician of their generation. In his introduction to this edition, von Bülow also heaps praise on Cramer's talent for pedagogical composition: As a means of imparting to the Piano-forte player execution and correct interpretation this work is much superior to all similar productions.
