A clean copy with deep impressions and an attractive binding. Some minor rumpling. Inner margins with faint water stains and two pin holes from former binding. Front wrapper with professional repair at right edge (not affecting). A desirable volume.The eminent Bohemian conductor, educator, composer, and pianist settled in London with his new wife, Charlotte, in 1825. He began teaching piano privately and at the Royal Academy of Music, gaining a notable roster of students that included Henry Litolff and Sigismond Thalberg. This enduring collection of etudes followed in 1827.
