Small quarto. 141 pp. Formerly owned by André Gagnon and with his occasional performance markings (in Rondo, Slide I & II, and on blank verso of p. 141). Black buckram with gilt stamping at front board and spine. In very good condition. Front board a bit rubbed. Gagnon has glued plastic tabs at the margin of each movement's first page (see images; this was his common practice).The full orchestral score of Berg's Lulu symphonic suite, from the library of Canadian pianist, composer, and conductor André Gagnon (1936-2020). Oddly, this first edition is bound with a later title page, which bears the plate number UE 12.674 (dating to c. 1950).
The suite premiered in Berlin in 1934 and was published the following year.
