I title page detached, creased; Liv. III title page with corner chip, creasing. Some spotting throughout, but an attractive set.Three groups of six minuets, forming a set of eighteen, which all take their themes from Haydn's famous symphonies and string quartets, as per the Hoboken catalogue.
MUS-14958$200These minuets were first published by Falter in 1800. This Schott edition, which was issued in 1818, uses Falter's plates but alters the plate numbers so that Falter's original plate number "1" is followed by a 1, 2, and 3, in books I, II, and III, respectively. (See attached image for an example of this alteration.)
