J. André: Offenbach, c 1824 [based on plate number]. Pl.n: 4713. Oblong quarto. 83 pp. Blue paper wrapper at back (front not present). First signature detached. Embossed dealer stamp on title page. Foxed, at some places heavily, but otherwise very good.
Although an accomplished composer, theorist, and keyboardist in his own time, Vogler is best remembered today as the subject of Robert Browning's poem Abt Vogler.
