A glossy postcard photograph of the three Hambourg brothers, each of which has signed atop his own image: violinist Jan Hambourg, pianist Mark Hambourg, and cellist Boris Hambourg. A nice example of the three together.

On the verso in an unknown hand is the address for a Miss Ethel Jordan of Notting Hill, but the postcard is without stamp or cancelation and appears never to have been mailed.

The Russian Hambourg brothers achieved both individual and collective successes throughout Europe and North America. Although Mark enjoyed the most prominent solo career of the three, the brothers also performed as the well-respected Hambourg Trio, and Boris and Jan founded the Hambourg Conservatory in Toronto.
