ORCHESTRA LIBRARIAN CARICATURE

Morley, Glen Stewart (1912-1996)

Mid twentieth century. Total size in mat: 12" h x 15.5" w. In excellent condition.
An amusing print showing an orchestra librarian helplessly suspended at arm and leg. While a conductor in coat tails jumps on his back (which is comically made of a stack of parts), musicians shout questions and complaints at him from below: Tape this rip up for me, will ya?, How do you expect me to read this mess?, I've lost my music! A bundle of Wrong Editions hangs in the background.
Glen Stewart Morley was a Canadian cellist, composer, and conductor who was also well known as a caricaturist of musical subjects.
